Our commitment
We aim for groundworkscan.com and every site we build to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA where reasonably practicable. This is a real, ongoing effort, not a one-time certification - accessibility issues get found and fixed as part of normal development, not treated as separate from it.
What is actually built in
Generated sites carry structural accessibility markup from the template itself rather than added afterwards: images have alt text, the page uses real navigation, main and footer landmarks, the first thing a keyboard reaches is a skip-to-content link that jumps past the navigation, and interactive regions carry labels. Colour contrast is set by the design system, not chosen per site. groundworkscan.com's own pages get the same scrutiny as any UI change we ship.
What we do not do, so you are not misled
We do not currently run an automated accessibility audit on every site before it goes live, and we do not claim conformance we have not measured.
Older pages and older generated sites may not reflect our current standard yet. If you run into a real barrier, the fastest way to get it fixed is to tell us specifically what and where, rather than assume it is already known.
