Refund Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
Your website plan
There is no build fee and your first month is free, so nothing is charged before your first charge date and there is nothing to refund if you cancel during the free month.
After that you can cancel anytime, with no lock-in. Cancelling stops the next charge and your site stays up through the period you have already paid for, so a part-month is not refunded separately. Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours either way. See our Terms for the full picture.
If your first charge is a surprise
If the first charge after your free month is not what you expected, email david@groundworkscan.com and we will refund it and cancel, no questions asked. This applies once, to that first charge.
Billing errors
A duplicate charge, an amount that doesn't match what you agreed to, or any other billing mistake on our end is always corrected in full, regardless of the windows above. Email david@groundworkscan.com with the charge details and we'll fix it.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe), typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
